Caring for someone you love is one of the most meaningful roles a person can hold — and one of the most demanding. January's Caregiver Tea: An Evening of Meditation & Sound Healing is an invitation for you to pause, exhale, and receive the same care you so generously give.
What to Expect:
Caregivers will gather at CenterWell Senior Primary Care (Wilkinson location) to enjoy warm tea, light refreshments, and a deeply calming sound healing experience provided by Racquel Washington, M.A. Using gentle tones, crystal singing bowls, chimes, and soothing instruments, Racquel will take you on a sound journey to support relaxation, stress relief, and emotional renewal. Please bring a yoga mat (if you would like to lie down) and a journal for reflection time.
Bring your Loved One!
To make true rest possible, we will provide on-site companion care for your loved one in the community room located within in the venue. While caregivers relax into the sound healing in the main area, elders will be engaged with gentle activities, conversation, and attentive supervision — close enough for peace of mind, separate enough for caregivers to fully unwind.

MEET RACQUEL
This event is offered on a "love offering" sliding scale. We invite you to contribute $5, $10, $15, or $20 to help support our caregiver and elder community. Your donation directly funds supplies for our mindful and creative caregiver tea activities, helping us keep these gatherings nourishing, accessible, and meaningful.
If you’re not able to make a love offering at this time, you are still welcome to join us. No one will be turned away. Please contact Kym Motley at hello@gladysloveproject.org or 704.277.4143.
